To buy furniture from FurniCare
If you are on a low income you may be eligible to buy affordable furniture and household appliances from one of our showrooms in Chard, Yeovil or Wincanton.
We work on a membership system. This means that if you are receiving any of the following benefits you can buy from us:
- Income Support
- Disability Living Allowance
- Job Seekers Allowance
- Basic State Pension
- Pension Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Employment & Support Allowance
- Incapacity Benefit
- Housing Benefit
- An Income of less than £15,000 per year
Please bring proof of income or benefits to FurniCare and we will register you to enable you to buy furniture from us. Membership is £2.00 for one year.
You can only use the project if you have a current membership card and only the person named on the card can buy from Furnicare.
Payment is by cash only. We cannot reserve items or take deposits for any items in the showroom.
You cannot use the project if you are running a business or are a landlord who lets property.
For a small charge we can deliver your purchases to the address on your membership form. Please check measurements before buying to ensure the furniture will fit into your home. We do not remove doors or windows and some large items will be delivered to the ground floor only.
