About FurniCare

Furnicare was establised in 1992 and is a managed project of South Somerset Association for Voluntary & Community Action Limited. (SSVCA). SSVCA is a Registered Charity No 1118417 and a Company Limited by Guarantee 6014757. We have two branches based in Yeovil and Chard. Our collections and client base covers South Somerset, North Dorset, West Dorset and East Devon. We save 300 tonnes of furniture from going into landfill each year. Clients are referred to us if they are on a low income or are in receipt of benefits.
